The name Eleanor infuses the sense and sensibility of Eleanor Roosevelt...

who dedicated her life’s work to serving and promoting women. She dreamed of a better life course—one that inspired meaningful and unselfish advocacy of women’s issues and left a historic footprint.

The Eleanor Project’s focus is to take those past lessons from Ms. Roosevelt and translate them to women living and working in our communities. This project seeks to create relevant networks and conversations among a diverse group of women to address issues vital to advancing change. Through hosted events and dinners, small in focus, we hope that women can come together to share their collective wisdom, build relationships and plant seeds for new programs and services. In supporting each other, visions can be realized.

"Life was meant to be lived, and curiosity must be kept alive. One must never, for whatever reason, turn his back on life."
